The Vardaris International Chess Tournament brings together players of all ages and levels in Thessaloniki, combining serious competition with the welcoming atmosphere of an international chess celebration.
Across nine editions, the tournament has grown from 119 participants to a record 388 players, becoming one of the largest and most established chess events in Greece.
Organized by Chess Club SACH Thessaloniki, Vardaris continues to connect the local chess community with players from Greece and abroad.
